Begin your journey from Siem Reap hotel to Battambang city that may take 3 hours drive with some stops ( bathroom, visit the bamboo sticky rice village, grilled rice-rat shop ). Battambang, this day trip offers a taste of authentic provincial life. Highlights include a ride on the quirky Bamboo Train, a visit to the historic Phnom Sampeau (Killing Caves), and witnessing the spectacular exodus of millions of bats from a cave at sunset before returning to Siem Reap.
